I called Meredith back in December and pitched her my vision for starting a podcast featuring extraordinary people sharing their stories of grace, hope and redemption. Naturally, I told her, she was the first person who came to my mind. I asked her to pray about it, and let me know. Right from the start Meredith was on board, and all together humbly confused as to why I would choose her first.
If you listen to her interview, you will understand.
Meredith gave me ample room to figure out the process of Flesh & Gold, since I was still developing the website, figuring out the audio technology, and honing in on the actual evolution of how to tell a story well. None of the aforementioned is by any means perfected, but alas we all must start somewhere. I would like to thank her for graciously and patiently allowing me the privilege of sharing her journey. And, I would like to thank you for listening.
Meredith did a fantastic job being herself, and that is what I love most about her interview. I confidently feel her interview captures her brilliance, her perseverance, and her enduring hope and faith concerning the formidable challenges she has faced. She feeds us the wisdom and gold of someone who has been through fire, not by shoving it down our throats, but by allowing her vulnerability to capture our hearts and let us in. May you be blessed by her story.
You will be.
Love,
Jenn
